It is obviously the revival of the cult series Beverly Hills. But this time, almost the entire original cast - Jason Priestley, Shannen Doherty, Tori Spelling and the others - met nineteen years later for a comeback between nostalgia and humor. The comedians all play their own roles and the series recounts their attempt to mount a reboot of the cult series.
In the United States, where the series just finished airing on September 11, 2019, the series has had a significant start. Almost four million viewers but it was before losing more than two million fans over the episodes. The final audiences are not yet consolidated - especially with the replay figures - but only 1.9 million viewers saw the last episode live ...
Lovers of medical series, New Amsterdam is likely to catch your eye. On the other side of the Atlantic, New Amsterdam got off to a flying start (8.3 million curious) and stabilized with a solid base of just over 5 million fans. Much to justify a season 2 which, in the United States, will start on September 24, 2019 ...
This new series is inspired by the thriller Bone collector once played by Denzel Washington and Angelina Jolie. Lincoln Rhyme, the character created on the screen by Denzel Washington, is now played by Russell Hornsby (The Affair). Rhyme, a former police officer once seriously injured by a serial killer, returns to business despite his disability when the serial killer who attacked him resurfaces. In the casting, we also find Arielle Kebbel (Ballers, Grand Hotel) and Michael Imperioli (Les Soprano, Hawaii 5-0).
A derivative or spin-off series of the FBI series which allows to follow a team of investigators specialized in tracking down the most wanted criminals. The cast is full of people: Julian McMahon (Nip / Tuck, Dirk Gently), Keisha Castle-Hughes (Game of Thrones, Manhunt Unabomber), Kellan Lutz (Twilight trilogy) and Nathaniel Arcand (Heartland, The Revenant).
The series has not yet been broadcast, but the FBI episode which constituted the "unofficial" pilot of FBI: Most Wanted hit the headlines in April 2019 with more than 9 million viewers!
An atypical thriller series in which we follow the adventures and investigations of a renowned young profiler, Malcolm Bright. A profiler who has a particularity: he was forced to change his name. Because his father, Martin Whitly is a famous serial killer now incarcerated, but nicknamed by the press "the Surgeon" when he perpetrated his murders! Prodigal Son will start very soon in the United States: the first episode will be broadcast by Fox on September 23, 2019. We will have to monitor the audiences.
This British mini-series event adapts the famous SF work by H. G. Wells, formerly modernized by Steven Spielberg with Tom Cruise. England, in Victorian times, suffered the impossible: an alien invasion fomented by the inhabitants of Mars. It is obviously a remake of the famous eponymous TV series formerly led by Tom Selleck. The new Magnum played by Jay Hernandez (Scandal) is an Afghan veteran who becomes a private investigator in Hawaii. In the casting, Perdita Weeks (Penny Dreadful) a female Higgins, Zachary Knighton (Santa Clarita Diet, Parenthood) and Stephen Hill (Maniac).
Season 2 of Magnum begins in the United States on September 27, 2019. Season 1 started with more than 8 million viewers before stabilizing at the end with around 5.5 million fans. It therefore seems to bode well for France!
