Tech expert groom moves to Lincoln International
Lincoln International brings Johannes Bräüttam to the Frankfurt office as Managing Director. In the future, he will land tech deals for M&A advice. For Lincoln it is the fourth prominent newcomer in Germany within a few months.
M&A Consulting Lincoln International is once again strengthening the personnel table in Germany: As FINANCE has learned, Johannes Bräütam will move to the Frankfurt office of the consulting firm on April 1st. There he will be responsible for managing M&A deals in the Technology, Media and Telecom (TMT) area in the DACH region.
With Groom, an M&A advisor joins Lincoln, who has experience in both investment banking and the corporate environment. He worked for UBS in London and Frankfurt for around twelve years. According to Lincoln, he was part of the team that advised the takeover of the telecommunications company E-Plus by the competitor O2.
Most recently, Groom expanded the areas of digital entertainment, film production and broadcasting for the media group ProSiebenSat.1 with several transactions. This included the foundation of the joint venture "7TV" with the media group Discovery in June 2018.
Groom's move is not Lincoln's first new addition this year. Since September 2018, the consulting firm has announced a total of four new additions to high positions in the German-speaking area. It was not until the end of February that Lincoln announced the commitment of Jörg Brunner, who moved from competitor Raymond James to Lincoln and was responsible for the automotive division there as director.
In September 2018, the consulting firm brought in Tobias Ramminger, the former M&A boss of Schaeffler's automotive supplier. Only a month later, Lincoln announced David David Seifert's move. The adviser came from the French major bank BNP Paribas. Lincoln currently employs around 70 people at its Frankfurt location, 55 of whom are M&A professionals.
